We're a small, level 25 guild who have been together since late summer of 2007. Some of our core raid team have been raiding together since Burning Crusade, and most of the rest joined us early in Wrath. We raid 3 nights a week (Thursday, Sunday, Monday) from 19:45 - 23:00 server time. Raid groups are (almost always) confirmed 24 hours in advance. We do our best to rotate people fairly if we have too many sign ups, but what we do not do is expect people to hang around outside raids all night waiting to be swapped in and out. We realise that people have better things to do with their time!
We advertise ourselves as casual raiding, but really what we are is casual players who take our raiding seriously. We don't ask for minimum attendance levels, we don't kick for a few weeks offline, and we don't (often) get annoyed with mistakes - what we do ask is that if you sign up for a raid, you show up, that you enchant/gem/reforge your gear appropriately, bring the proper consumables, and at least have an idea of what's going to happen in a progression fight. Oh, and don't stand in the fire. Not even if it gives you rage [our warriors would like to register their objection to this comment here].
We are friendly, sociable altaholics, who don't take ourselves too seriously. We have low tolerance for drama of any sort, particularly loot drama, and if you want to be pushing server firsts or get annoyed by 1% wipes then we are probably not for you. Joining Nullus will land you in a raid group where people frequently burst into spontaneous song at any given chance. We can also offer you a Raid Leader who it is fashionable to ignore, two arguing husband/wife teams, suicidal DPS, lost healers, and ninja pulling skills like you wouldn't believe. Here we are at the beginning of another birthday week - 4 years now! Many thanks to you all for sticking around and keeping it going, and lets hope the next year is just as good.

Driving round and round
|
Not to long ago there was this giant who had absolutely no coordination. He lived on a small round island surrounded by lava, not much but it was home to him. He liked the island and he liked to make long walks around the island, but sadly he could stand and walk but not turn. He was a friendly giant, didn't want to hurt anyone, but he needed help. Help slowing down one leg and then the other so he could turn. But because the island was in an evil realm, ruled by a fiery death lord, noone ever came to visit and help him.
Someday he noticed the fiery death lord making a pact with an even more evil dragonaspect and starting to fight the people outside of the realm. Not liking this at all he couldn't do anything about it because he was stuck on his island. But after a while he noticed the fiery death lord returned and that he wasn't happy at all, he had been defeated on the outside world.
And then the unthinkable happened, people started to come into the fiery realm, their minds set to destroy the evil fiery lord. And his hopes flared, maybe they would come to visit and help him with his walks.
Some time passed and he noticed they ignored him, they ignored him and just fought the evil minions of the fiery death lord.
Suddenly an idea hit him, he would get visitors if he sided with the fiery death lord, yes they would try to kill him. But hey, he was strong, he could fight and maybe they could help him make his walk around the island.
So he declared himself in favor of the fiery death lord and indeed the people came to help him walk. He was happy for a little while but the people grew smarter and stronger and suddenly he was losing and he died.

Because we slack (part II)

As stated in the newspost 'Because we slack', there are those days, weeks, months and possibly years where we just don't do things because we can.
And sometimes this feels great, fame awaits those that seek it, doing nothing comes easily to those that desire it.
Well I liked doing no newsposts for a while and it felt great, but now the awesomeness has faded a little because some people demand more newsposts. Damn them, or me, or whoever else can be blamed. But new newsposts there will be.
So here we go; Some time ago in a big red raidinstance called Firelands we killed this thingy called Beth'tilac (after many wipes) and we took a picture.

Once upon a time there was a...

new raid-instance released. This raidinstance was called Firelands, in these Firelands there was a fiery hunter with two dogs. The hunter was called Shannox, the raiders stepped into this Firelands, faced the hunter Shannox, used their balloons and sheep and killed him. And they all lived happily ever after.
And this wouldn't be one of my posts without the big picture. |
